As a theatre teacher for over 20 years, I found Fernando Albarran’s Virtual Classroom Resource File Cabinet to be a lifesaver. Not only did it save me during virtual teaching, but I am sure I will use it for years to come. It contains lesson plans and exercises from acting to technical theatre, all well organized and easy to access. It also has PowerPoint presentations that I have used in their entirety or manipulated to meet the needs of my students. The file cabinet is a true treasure trove for the theatre educator!

⚠️ At Risk Student Progress System

Are you in search of a comprehensive system to monitor and track student progress in academics, behavior, and effective accommodations over time? Look no further! I developed the ⚠️ At-Risk Student Progress System to facilitate meaningful conversations and implement action steps for student growth during grade-level team meetings.

As a grade-level team, we identified five students who required additional monitoring. Each week, all of the students’ teachers completed an observation form, documenting their progress in each class. Over time, this allowed us to identify patterns in behavior, share effective accommodation strategies tailored to each student, and track missed class time. This system not only drove student improvement and accountability but also gained widespread adoption, eventually becoming a campus-wide initiative!
